CABALGATA DE LOS REYES MAGOS

El día 6 de enero se celebra el día de los Reyes Magos, y mañana como es costumbre en Ciutadella tenemos la cabalgata de éstos. El recorrido empezará en la rotonda des Cavall sobre las 19:00h, recorrerán el camí de Maó y después pasarán por toda la contramurada tirando caramelos para los niños hasta llegar al ayuntamiento. La alcaldesa les dará la bienvenida en el balcón principal i formulará los deseos de Ciutadella para el año nuevo. Acto seguido los tres reyes visitarán a las monjas de la Catedral y de Santa Clara para terminar la cabalgata.

THE THREE WISE MEN PARADE

On January 6, the day of the Three Wise Men is celebrated, and tomorrow, as is the tradition in Ciutadella, we have the procession of these. The tour will start at the "rotonda des Cavall" at around 7:00 p.m., will cross the "Camí de Maó" and then pass through the "contramurada" throwing sweets for the children until they reach the town hall. The mayor will welcome them in the main balcony and will formulate the wishes of Ciutadella for the new year. Then the three kings will visit the nuns of the Cathedral and Santa Clara to finish the procession.

What do we do on the 31st of december?

Our traditions on the 31st of december.

On the last day of the year, we usually have dinner with our friends or family, then at midnight we watch the 12 chimes through the TV or otherwise we go to the town hall and there we meet with other friends and we eat the grapes all together.

Once the 12 chimes are finished we go out at night or we stay at home with our family and friends to enjoy the good atmosphere of being with our friends and family.

¿Qué se hace el día 31?

¿Qué hacemos el día 31?

El día de fin de año, se suele cenar con amigos o familia y a las 12 se dan las campanadas que se pueden ver por la tele o por otro lado, si te gusta más estar en la calle con tus amigos, puedes ir al ayuntamiento, donde seguramente encontrarás a viejos amigos y conocidos y podrás despedir el fin de año con ellos.

Una vez finalizadas las campanadas se suele o bien quedar en casa con los amigos y familiares o salir de fiesta y encontrarte con los demás conocidos.
